This is a 6 month secondment opportunity.
About the Role
As a Risk and Operations Analyst youll support the Internal Audit function to operate effectively and efficiently within risk appetite. Youll help design frameworks maintain compliance and deliver insights that optimise performance. This is a chance to contribute to a high-performing team and influence best practice across the organisation.
What Youll Do
- Support the Operations Manager in uplifting Internal Audit through frameworks controls and compliance activities
- Execute control testing and maintain systems to reflect risk and compliance profiles
- Develop and produce performance reports for senior management and Board Committees
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement focusing on simplification and automation
- Maintain tools and systems such as SharePoint TeamMate and OpenPages to enable efficient audit operations
- Assist with planning procurement and change initiatives impacting Internal Audit
What Youll Bring
- Degree or equivalent experience in business commerce risk or finance
- 35 years experience in audit or risk-related roles with exposure to project management
- Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and recommend solutions
- Ability to design and operate controls ensuring compliance and risk management
- Proficiency in reporting tools and attention to detail for accurate outputs
- Collaborative approach with strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills
