Senior Analyst Credit, Market and Liquidity Risk
Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior Analyst Credit Risk to join our Financial Risk team on a 12-month maximum term contract to support in the strategic reporting of Financial Risks.
The Senior Analyst will support the Senior Manager Market Risk and Head of Financial Risk in the strategic reporting of Financial Risks to internal stakeholders ALCO and Board. The Senior Analyst will develop and maintain business requirements documentation for all reports and implement/develop analytical solutions and apply Machine Learning and AI for deep insights

Risk Data & Reporting
- This role has responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective management practices over risk data allocated systems and reports including:
- Effectively and efficiently enable Risk to meet statutory and regulatory reporting obligations and produce management reports to support data driven decisions
- Lead the development and implementation of a suite of financial models dashboards and reports to uplift Risk capabilities
- Establish and maintain standardised data hierarchies to facilitate consistent analysis linking risk results to internal/external drivers
- Maintain a robust control environment over Cuscals financial risk data
- Support the Head of Financial Risk and the Senior Manager Market Risk in maintaining Policies and Procedures for the collection storage structure analysis and sharing of financial data
- Automate processes end-to-end and facilitate robust and reliable insight and analysis
Stakeholder Management & Collaboration
- As the systems support several stakeholders and company initiatives embedding effective stakeholder management and collaboration practices within the Data and Strategic Initiatives team is a key part of this role
- Test the accuracy of the newly designed and implemented solutions.
- Monitor the accuracy of the required output.
- Work closely with the business for continuous improvement opportunities.
- Utilise data analytics to provide actionable insights and recommendations to enhance risk management practices.
- Produce quality concise and accurate risk and compliance reports using risk data and insights to management committees and the Board.
- Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to foster a data-driven culture.
- Oversee and deliver key data governance projects on time and within scope.
- Work closely with data analyst and reporting teams to ensure data is readily available to produce accurate and timely delivery of reports.
Other accountabilities
- Perform scenario/stress tests to inform risk settings and assist in risk model validation activities.
- Deep experience in regulatory reporting and compliance related to treasury risk. Remediation and transformation uplift requiring:
- Treasury System knowledge (e.g. Murex Calypso etc)
- Project management skills (problem solving requirement analysis business process improvement)

To succeed in this role youll have:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in analytics insights and reporting within the finance and banking industry.
- Demonstrated experience in risk management risk management software risk reporting analytics or related field.
- Expert skills in data analysis tools data visualisation and relevant software (e.g. Excel SQL Power BI Tableau).
- Ability to build relationships engage and influence senior management and key stakeholders on risk-related matters communicating complex topics in simple understandable terms.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to risk reporting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective workplace relationships.
- Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy and be able to demonstrate sound judgment.
- Proficient in executing change management activities.
