Job Summary
Are you a passionate Music ECT looking for the ideal school to begin your teaching career We are currently seeking a vibrant and dedicated Music Teacher to join an ambitious and inclusive school in Swindon from January 2026. This is a full-time permanent role open to ECTs and experienced teachers.

About the Music Department
The Music Department is lively and highly respected with practice rooms digital composition software recording equipment and a multi-purpose performance space. Students enjoy choirs ensembles instrumental tuition and the opportunity to perform in seasonal concerts and school productions.
About the Role
As a Music ECT your responsibilities will include:
Teaching Music across Key Stages 3 and 4
Planning creative and practical lessons that build musical skill
Supporting choirs ensembles and school performances
Assessing progress and supporting students musical development
Contributing to curriculum planning
Participating fully in the ECT induction programme
Experience and Qualifications
Degree in Music or related field
PGCE with QTS
Music Teacher (ECT applications encouraged)
Salary
Paid to scale MPS/UPS
