On behalf of M.H Simonsen MARPRO is actively seeking a QA Superintendent with a focus on Vetting ISM PSC optimization and internal audits. You will be a part of technical department and report to the QA Manager. It is required that you can attend the office in Svendborg on daily basis.
The job
On a daily basis you will oversee key quality assurance activities including conducting vetting inspections ensuring ISM compliance and performing internal audits to optimize operational processes. They will train crew members on quality standards monitor safety and environmental performance and maintain necessary compliance documentation. The role involves maintaining the culture of safety and quality among seafarers and handling daily office tasks and requires the ability to ensure and optimize operational processes related to quality assurance.
Professional Qualifications:
- Education in either Master Mariner Dual purpose or a related field
- Experience in Vetting either at sea or onshore is beneficial
- Interested in conducting internal audits either at sea or onshore
- Knowledge of ISM procedures and industry regulations
- Ability to train and guide crew members in quality assurance procedures
- Willingness to travel up to 50 days/year
