Inventory Accountant – Morocco

We are seeking an Inventory Accountant to join our Finance team in Casablanca. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy integrity and compliance of inventory records and valuations. You will work cross-functionally with operations procurement and warehousing teams to monitor analyze and improve inventory processes while supporting month-end and year-end financial close.

• Reconcile physical inventory with financial records; investigate and resolve discrepancies.

• Maintain accurate inventory valuation including provisions for obsolete or slow-moving stock.

• Prepare inventory-related schedules and reports for monthly quarterly and annual financial close.

• Coordinate cycle counts and full physical stock counts; document results and ensure compliance with audit standards.

• Provide timely and accurate inventory data to support financial reporting.

• Support internal and external audits with documentation and responses to queries.

• Monitor inventory levels and aged stock to optimize working capital efficiency.

• Bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting.

• Professional qualification (CPA CMA ACCA) completed or in progress.

• Minimum 3 years experience in inventory control or finance within a manufacturing or milling environment.

• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP Oracle).

• Exposure to cost accounting and financial control in food processing or milling industry.

• Experience managing inventory reconciliations stock audits and financial closures.

• Strong understanding of inventory valuation costing methods and IFRS reporting.

• Proficiency in ERP systems for stock management and reconciliation.

• Knowledge of compliance procedures and audit support for inventory processes.

• Skilled in reconciling inventory balances and preparing period-end reports.

• Confident in managing transactions and reporting within enterprise systems.
