Portland Community College is accepting applications to be considered for Part-Time Faculty assignments in Early Childhood Education specializing in Early Intervention or Early Childhood Special Education at the Sylvania Campus. The Department will review applications in this pool as the need arises for new part-time faculty in this area.

Our Program and Who We Are Looking For

Please also review the PCC Course Catalog for this subject area (ECE/HEC). As part of this application you will be asked to list the current PCC courses which you would be able to teach - our specific need is the ECE 234 Children with Special Needs in ECE course.

Instructor Qualifications

Education

  • Masters degree in Early Intervention or Early Childhood Special Education

Experience

  • AND three years full-time equivalent recent work experience in the field specifically working with children ages infant through preschool and/or families in the field of early care and education. Recent is defined as within the last 5 years.

Instructors who meet the above requirement may teach all ECE and HEC courses and ECE 234.
