Senior Epic Configuration Analyst Epic Bridges

Presbyterian is seeking a Senior Epic Configuration Analyst! This position is responsible for in-depth knowledge of assigned Epic System software. This position conducts regular day-to-day communication reviews software demonstrates a deeper understanding of business operations and works with Epic Subject Matter Experts and end users to tailor the system to fit the organizations needs.

This position routinely performs in-depth analysis of workflows data collection and other technical issues associated with the use of Epic software; is responsible for design build testing and maintain those solutions

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in working with an interface engine (i.e. Ensemble Cloverleaf Rhapsody) and completing build for large projects
• Ability utilize interface HL7 specifications and Epic Implementation guides to plan and scope build for large projects
• Certified in Epic Bridges
• Proficiency with EPIC software particularly in clinical interoperability.
• Experience with interface/integration analysis preferably within the healthcare industry.
• Experience with an interface engine ensuring efficient data transfer and integration across systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.

• Bachelors degree plus 2 years of IT or business experience.
• 2 years of Epic specific experience. 6 years of additional experience can be substituted in lieu of degree.
• Epic certified in supporting application plus additional proficiency/certification/badges in related application area

• Provide tier-2 support of application incidents reported through the help desk; including 24/7 on call coverage as required.
• Perform analysis to resolve application incidents maintenance items enhancement requests upgrades / updates and projects collaborating with colleagues and across teams.
• Develop and maintain requirements / specifications and test cases for new or enhanced functionality to department applications. Ensure the test scripts have been created reviewed and updated to reflect workflow solutions.
• Modify Epic records tables and master files to support the application design additions and changes.
• Implement changes using documented procedures that are compliant with department s policies and procedures.
• Actively participate and contribute in team and cross-team meetings and maintain appropriate meeting records.
• Have advanced understanding of your supported application integration and general understanding of clinical/revenue cycle applications.
