This is a key role responsible for overseeing the organisations payroll and pension functions ensuring accuracy compliance and timely delivery. The successful candidate will also provide expert guidance to staff at all levels on payroll and pension-related matters acting as a trusted advisor across the business.

Hours 33 per week - salary up to 30k pro rata
KeyResponsibilities:
- Responsibleforthedaytorunningofthepayrollfunctionforthecompanyandthesubsidiaries.
- Responsibilityfortimelyprocessingofpart-timeandcasualtimesheetsstaffmileageexpensesandanyothernon-salariedpayrollpayments.
- CalculateandprocessanypayrolladjustmentsrequiredforsalaryadvancessalarysacrificeschemesSSPSMPoranyotherleavesofabsence.
- MaintenanceofaccurateandauditablepayrollrecordsoniTrentpayrollsystem.
- Ensure payroll and pension procedures are up-to-date fit for purpose and regularly reviewed and updated focusing on quality improvement and implementing changes.
- Responsibility for the timely and accurate submission of statutory payroll and pension month and year end reports.
- Responsibilityforalladministrationandcompletionofreportsforthepensionschemes(TPALGPSStakeholder)andprovisionofinformationtoanyotherexternalbodiesasrequired.
- Manage relationship and attend regular meetings with the HR team.
- Adviseseniorleadersoncontractspaymentsandstaffingchangestosupportstrategicdecisions
- Resolvepensionandpayrollqueriesacrossallstafflevels
- Ensurecompliancewithauto-enrolmentandpensionreportingregulations
