As a vital member of the MIEC Marketing team the Marketing Coordinator will be involved in implementing dynamic marketing strategies supporting campaign development and bringing creative ideas to every initiative including promotional event planning and logistics direct mail campaigns email marketing digital and print advertising and social media. LOCATION:
This position can be hybrid or in-office at our MIEC office located in Oakland California. This position requires limited travel from time to time including overnight stays.
COMPENSATION
Salary based on experience:
- Hiring range for San Francisco Bay Area: $35.83/hr to $47.77/hr (based on a 37.5-hour workweek)

WHAT YOULL DO
- Collaborate to support marketing projects and initiatives coordinate marketing events optimize targeted email campaigns and manage company content on our website and other social media platforms.
- Coordinate the scheduling content development production and delivery of various internal/external editorial publications and advertising campaigns including e-newsletters social media campaigns; working with strategic partners to secure marketing material advertising and marketing opportunities.
- Support the development and promotion of digital content assets and webinars and assist in the production of artwork sourcing images print buying and checking copy.
- Coordinate with team members to track and manage our marketing database user interface to online resources corporate literature business system materials and promotional items.
- Develop and monitor various marketing metrics and provide regular analytics reports to enhance engagement maximize ROI and track campaign performance.

- Bachelors Degree in Business Marketing Communications Public Relations or related field preferred.
Licenses:
- A valid drivers license required.
Experience:
The ideal candidate will join us with:
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in supporting marketing operations with a corporation nonprofit or public relations firm (extra points for medical malpractice insurance industry experience!).
- Experience building out and implementing internal marketing support processes for example experience with requests for assistance metric measurements and conference requests.
- One (1) year of experience in general marketing strategy and execution this might be in traditional marketing digital marketing search engine optimization pay-per-click advertising and/or social media.
- An understanding of professional liability insurance is preferred though not expected.
Digital Skillsets:
Our ideal candidate will be a digitally fluent contributor comfortable in a range of virtual environments and skilled with marketing creative and office software.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel Powerpoint Visio Word and CoPilot.
