What Were Looking For:

Requirements:

5 years of professional software engineering experience

Strong proficiency with Elixir and OTP principles

Solid experience with PostgreSQL (schemas queries performance tuning JSONB indexing strategies)

Experience deploying and managing applications on AWS (EKS S3 Aurora)

Proficiency in writing clean maintainable testable code (TDD/BDD practices mandatory)

Experience working in Agile teams (code reviews refinement demos CI/CD practices)

Good understanding of version control (Git/GitHub/GitLab)

Additional skills:

Experience with Phoenix framework

Knowledge of observability tools (AppSignal Datadog etc.)

Unleash your potential: What you will be doing and owning:

Designing and developing server-side features in Elixir/Phoenix backed by PostgreSQL

Deploying and managing cloud workloads in AWS with scalability and resilience in mind

Participating in architecture discussions and solving complex engineering challenges

Working on new and existing projects that power a point-of-sale geared towards convenience stores

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver value to our customers

Writing reviewing and improving code through peer reviews and unit/integration testing
