Job Summary
Infosys is seeking a Lead Kafka Admin.
We are seeking a Lead Kafka Administratorto provide technical expertise and oversee day-to-day deliverables for the team. This role involves designing implementing and maintaining large-scale business systems with a focus on Apache Kafkaand related technologies. You will play a key role in optimizing event-driven architectures and ensuring seamless data streaming across enterprise platforms. This position requires strong leadership skills to drive innovation and mentor team members in adopting best practices.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of New York NY or Alpharetta GA or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.

At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology
Experience in Deploy configure and maintain Confluent Kafka with experience in Kafka upgrades and patching
Preferred Qualification:
Knowledge in Administer security protocols and access controls to protect the platform.
Knowledge in Monitor cluster health and performance using our established monitoring stack(Prometheus Grafana)
Experience in Develop and enhance automation scripts to streamline operational tasks and reduce manual intervention.
Experience in Kafka upgrades and patching ensuring minimal downtime and seamless transitions.
Experience in Troubleshoot and resolve cluster-related incidents such as broker outages replication lag
Experience in Deploy configure and maintain Confluent Kafka clusters in a highly available environment.
Knowledge in Assist with planning and managing cluster resources to support future growth.
Knowledge in Linux system administration
Knowledge in Python and/or Bash scripting for automation.
Knowledge in Prometheus and Grafana for monitoring and observability.
Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.
Good Analytical skills.

Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
Estimated annual compensation range for candidate based on New York NY will be Min - 82419 to Max - 107145.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
