Cerity Partners is searching for talented bright and motivated individuals with the highest level of personal integrity to join our Investment Solutions team for 2026.
The Investment Analyst Intern will be a member of the Investment Team. This individual will report directly to the analysts and portfolio manager responsible for the management of the firms various investment portfolios. This opportunity provides exposure to the institutional investment marketplace with a goal of giving the intern an understanding of multi-asset class portfolio management along with exposure to a range of investment management firms and strategies.
This is a paid internship program which requires an availability of 40 hours per weekand a great opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in a professional environment. This role is ideal for someone looking for authentic exposure to the financial industry at a nationally recognized registered investment advisory.
Primary Responsibilities:
Assist the investment team with portfolio monitoring analysis and reporting responsibilities.
Assist with external manager updates (calls & meetings) and compile notes for distribution to team members.
Assist in maintaining investment related databases spreadsheets and models to assist with tracking client portfolio exposures.
Perform qualitative and quantitative reviews of existing and prospective external managers and assist in recommending changes to client portfolios.
Perform asset class and capital markets research.
Produce clear and concise written reports of analysis performed with limited supervision.
Produce information reports and analysis for the Chief Investment Officer Lead Portfolio Managers and current and prospective clients as directed.
Work with a team virtually to create a financial planning project or investment research project
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
Pursuing a degree in Finance or similar field with a strong academic record
Skills and Competencies:
Exhibits a strong interest in public and private capital markets and portfolio management
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel PowerPoint Word and Bloomberg
Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail
Strong presentation and communication skills
