The Corporate Infrastructure Services team is seeking an experienced Manager to lead our Global Telecommunications Program Management organization overseeing billing operations procurement and operational program management for Amazons global telecommunications infrastructure. This role will manage a team of professionals across three key functions: telecommunications billing procurement and operations program management ensuring seamless delivery and life-cycle manager of telecommunications services worldwide.
Key job responsibilities
Team Leadership & Strategy
* Lead and develop a team of program managers and specialists across billing procurement and operations
* Define and implement strategic initiatives to optimize telecommunications spend improve operational efficiency and enhance service delivery
* Establish and maintain KPIs and performance metrics across all three functions
* Drive cross-functional collaboration between billing procurement and operations teams
Financial Management & Optimization
* Oversee global telecommunications spend and budget management
* Drive cost optimization initiatives across procurement and billing operations
* Ensure accurate financial forecasting and reporting
Process & Systems Innovation
* Lead the implementation and utilization of telecommunications expense management platforms
* Standardize global processes across regions and functions
* Drive automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency
* Establish governance frameworks and audit procedures
Program Oversight
* Manage complex multi-regional telecommunications projects
* Oversee circuit lifecycle management from procurement through billing
* Direct operational reporting and analytics programs
* Ensure data integrity across multiple systems (Gopher Asana Calero etc.)
- 3 years of team management experience
- 3 years of program or project management experience
- 3 years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 3 years of delivering cross functional projects experience
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- 2 years of telecommunication technology experience
- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
- Experience in data mining data management reporting and SQL queries
