Job Summary
Job Description: Legal Manager Litigation & Drafting
Position Overview
The Legal Manager will be responsible for managing litigation matters drafting and vetting legal documents and providing strategic legal support to the organization. The role requires strong leadership skills to guide the legal team and coordinate with external counsel ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Litigation Management
Handle and oversee company litigation cases across civil criminal and corporate matters.
Liaise with external lawyers monitor case progress and ensure timely filings and responses.
Prepare case strategies evidence documentation and witness coordination.
Drafting & Documentation
Draft review and vet contracts agreements notices pleadings and other legal documents.
Ensure accuracy clarity and compliance with applicable laws.
Maintain repository of legal templates and precedents.
Compliance & Advisory
Provide legal opinions and advisory support to management and business teams.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements labor laws and corporate governance standards.
Support HR and Finance teams in legal aspects of employee relations contracts and regulatory filings.
Leadership & Coordination
Lead and mentor the legal team fostering collaboration and efficiency.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams (HR Finance Operations) for legal risk mitigation.
Represent the company in negotiations mediations and settlement discussions.
Qualifications & Skills
Education: LL. B (mandatory); LL.M preferred.
Experience: Minimum 3 years in litigation and legal drafting.
Skills:
Strong drafting and analytical skills.
Excellent knowledge of civil corporate and labour laws.
Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
Team leadership and stakeholder management.
Proficiency in MS Office and legal research tools.
