Were seeking aDirector of Data Management and Analytics to help shape the future of dental supply distribution through data-driven innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
A hand-on leader driving Frontier Dentals data strategy overseeing the development of our data warehouse and the implementation of AI/ML technologies to drive business growth and operational excellence
Strategic Leadership
Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy aligned with Frontier Dentals business objectives
Lead a team of data analysts and data engineers fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
Collaborate with C-level executives to identify data-driven opportunities for business growth and efficiency
Data Infrastructure Development
Oversee the design and implementation of a scalable data warehouse architecture
Ensure data quality security and compliance across all data systems
Drive the adoption of modern data technologies and best practices
AI/ML Integration
Spearhead the integration of AI/ML solutions to optimize supply chain operations inventory management and customer experience
Develop predictive models to forecast dental supply demand and market trends
Implement data-driven decision-making processes across the organization
Team Management
Recruit mentor and develop a high-performing team of data professionals
Set clear goals and KPIs for the data team aligning with overall business objectives
Foster collaboration between data teams and other departments
Technical Skills:
Experience & Expertise
10 years of experience in data science analytics or related fields with 5 years in leadership roles
Proven track record of implementing successful data strategies in fast-growing organizations
Deep understanding of modern data stack technologies including cloud platforms (AWS/AZURE/GCP)
Strong background in data security and governance
Strong background in AI/ML applications for business optimization
Experience with ERP systems and supply chain analytics
Leadership Skills
Exceptional communication skills able to translate complex data concepts for non-technical stakeholders
Strategic thinker with the ability to align data initiatives with business goals
Demonstrated success managing geographically distributed cross-time-zone teams fostering inclusion and cohesion while driving consistent delivery through effective remote/async collaboration practices
Track record of building and leading high-performing teams
Proven experience scaling a mid-sized company to enterprise scaleexpanding people processes and technology with appropriate governance controls and operating rigor
Technical Knowledge
Proficiency in data modeling ETL processes and data governance
Familiarity with data visualization tools and BI platforms
Understanding of data privacy regulations and best practices
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the dental healthcare supply chain or ecommerce industry
MBA or advanced degree in Data Science Computer Science or related field
Certifications in data management or cloud technologies (e.g. AWS/AZURE/GCP)
