Position Summary
iEducate is seeking an HR Specialist to oversee the onboarding offboarding and HR operations for tutors and staff ensuring compliance with employment laws and internal policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage onboarding for tutors and staff ensuring completion of background checks I-9s and compliance requirements.
- Support HR operations including recruitment personnel management benefits and performance management.
- Oversee tutor HR processes including performance management policy updates and handling complaints.
- Manage relationship with district partners to ensure tutors successfully complete all district compliance onboarding requirements including background checks
- Conduct exit interviews and oversee offboarding processes.
- Maintain HR documentation and support staff with policy-related inquiries.
- Support whole organization compliance and culture initiatives
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field required
- SHRM or HRCI certifications preferred
- 3-7 years of relevant Human Resources experience
- Experience in HR operations compliance or employee relations.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders alongside excellent communication skills for resolving issues. The ideal candidate will also have strong problem-solving abilities to identify issues develop solutions and implement corrective actions.
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
