Job Summary

As the VP of Sales you will be responsible for developing and executing sales marketing and business development will play a pivotal role in driving YoY revenue growth forging strategic partnerships managing and growing a sales team as well as ensuring the successful commercialization new products.

Working with the team in office two weeks a month will be required for those living outside of the Los Angeles area.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the commercial strategy aligned with the companys overall business goals and objectives.
  • Lead all aspects of the sales cycle including prospecting relationship building solution presentations negotiations and contract closures.
  • Lead the sales team with drive and accountability to achieve ambitious goals consistently fostering high productivity.
  • Ideate with buyers in retail food service or other channels.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities establishing strategic partnerships and cultivating strong relationships with key industry stakeholders.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs market trends and competitive landscape providing insights to guide product development and positioning.
  • Collaborate with the owners marketing and production to ensure commercial viability and market fit of new products and features based on customer feedback and market demand.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends emerging consumer trends in retail and food serviceadapting strategies accordingly.
  • Represent at industry events conferences and trade shows showcasing the companys value proposition.

Requirements:

  1. Five plus years of a proven track record of success in seafood sales with leadership responsibility groing and scaling a brand is preferred.
  2. Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth meet sales targets and expand market share.
  3. Strategic mindset with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills able to identify market opportunities and develop effective go-to-market strategies.
  4. Ability to foster a culture of collaboration and accountability.
  5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills capable of building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders including customers partners and industry influencers.
  6. The job will require travel when needed to customers and trade shows.
