Responsibilities:
Oversee month-end closing journal postings and reconciliations..
Provides complex financial analysis for a financial function or a business.
Establishes and maintains relationships with business leaders to guide and influence decision-making.
Provides analytics to business initiatives typically representing a sub-function within finance for a particular business.
Supports policy and process improvement and identifies opportunities.
Identifies issues and proposes solutions.
Represents finance on cross-functional teams.
Prepares and reviews financial information related to indirect tax matters (VAT WHT).
Prepares and reviews local financial statement and any other related accounting compliance work.
Provides mentoring and guidance to analysts.
Education and Experience Required:
Bachelors degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
Typically 5 years of relevant work experience in industry with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role (with audit experience is a plus)
Typically experienced in more than one finance function.
Experience in using SAP (is a plus).
Knowledge and Skills:
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis.
Strong analytical skills attention to detail and problem solving ability.
Strong business application skills (e.g. Microsoft Excel).
Strong communication and influencing skills.
Excellent teamwork skills
Good business acumen.
