Our client a global technology services company is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join their Banking Operations team in Berlin. Position Overview
In this role you will be a key part of the back-office operations team. You will manage essential banking processes ensuring accuracy and compliance. Your work will directly contribute to providing a seamless and reliable service for customers by handling complex inquiries and transactions efficiently through written communication channels.
Responsibilities
- Manage customer accounts and data with high accuracy.
- Process payment transactions bookings and other back-office tasks.
- Resolve complex customer inquiries via email and ticketing systems.
- Collaborate with internal teams including Fraud and KYC departments.
- Ensure all activities comply with German banking regulations.
- Deliver a fair consistent and transparent customer experience.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in a customer support or back-office role.
- Experience within a financial institution in the German market.
- A completed banking apprenticeship or a comparable qualification.
- Fluent written and spoken German is essential for this role.
- Excellent written communication and problem-solving skills.
- A strong understanding of relevant regulatory requirements.
