Job Summary
We are seeking a visionary and analytical Director of Finance to join our team in Alexandria Egypt. As a key member of our senior leadership you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations driving strategic financial planning and ensuring the long-term financial health of our organization.
- Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the companys overall business objectives
- Lead and manage the finance department overseeing all accounting budgeting financial planning and analysis functions
- Direct the preparation of all financial reports including income statements balance sheets reports to shareholders and tax returns
- Oversee the companys budget process providing insightful analysis and recommendations to senior management
- Manage relationships with external auditors banks and financial institutions
- Implement and maintain robust financial controls and risk management processes
- Drive financial innovation and process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization
- Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations and reporting standards
- Collaborate with other department heads to develop financial plans and forecasts
- Present financial reports to the board of directors highlighting insights and recommended actions
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field required; CPA CMA or MBA preferred
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
- Strong understanding of financial principles including full-cycle accounting budgeting forecasting and financial analysis
- Excellent knowledge of U.S. GAAP IFRS and internal control best practices
- Proficiency in advanced financial modeling and analysis techniques
- Experience with ERP systems and financial software; knowledge of data visualization tools is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Exceptional leadership abilities with experience managing and developing high-performing teams
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information to diverse audiences
- Proven track record of driving financial strategy and contributing to organizational growth
- Experience in international finance and familiarity with Egyptian financial regulations is highly desirable
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
- Demonstrated integrity and ethical standards in handling sensitive financial information
- Fluency in English required; proficiency in Arabic is a plus
