The Coordinator will design cultivate and implement initiatives that promote holistic student development with a view towards retention graduation and post-graduate success. The Coordinator will promote a better sense of belonging for all students by creating educational content hosting events that promote student welfare and a sense of belonging facilitate developmental opportunities and engagement initiatives for at-risk and underrepresented students manage and teach the Colleges Living Learning Community oversee student clubs and organizations and provide guidance for recruiting a diverse student body. The Coordinator will collaborate with personnel throughout the Deans office the Herbert College of Agriculture the University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture (UTIA) and the University of Tennessee Knoxville to help establish a campus culture that continuously promotes awareness respect and inclusion.

The Coordinator for Student Life is a valued member of the Deans office in the Herbert College of Agriculture at the University of Tennessee Knoxville.
