Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) Stepdown Unit
Location: Cleveland OH 44195
Shift Options:
Nights: 312 (7:00 PM 7:30 AM)
Days: 312 (7:00 AM 7:30 PM)
Shift Type: Day/Night Rotation (facility will try to honor preference but may rotate based on operational needs)
Duration: 13 Weeks
Orientation: 20 Hours (Non-Billable)
Block Scheduling: Not Available
Position Overview
This Stepdown RN position supports a high-acuity cardiovascular/progressive care environment. Nurses in this role will manage complex cardiac patients requiring continuous monitoring advanced assessments and skilled clinical judgment.
Requirements
Experience
Minimum 18 months of permanent Stepdown experience required before traveling
18 months of recent Cardiac Stepdown experience required (recent travel experience accepted)
Progressive Care (PCU) background preferred not mandatory
Licensing
Active Ohio RN license or Compact RN license in hand at submission
Certifications
AHA BLS
AHA ACLS
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
Schedule & Expectations
Auto Offer Position (no interview)
312-hour shifts only
Must work every other holiday
Shifts may vary if needed to meet unit needs
Use of Qualivis Lotus system to submit hours
Additional Requirements
Completion of ECG rhythm recognition test during orientation
Completion of Safe Medicate assessment during orientation
