Location: Binghamton NY 13904
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Day Shift 5x8 Hours (8:00 AM 3:30 PM)
Pay Rate: $54 $58 per hour
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality psychiatric nursing care in an inpatient setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical judgment effective communication skills and the ability to foster a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
Responsibilities
Administer medications for up to 25 patients per shift in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols.
Conduct and document comprehensive nursing assessments.
Complete shift documentation including weekly and monthly reports as assigned.
Collaborate with Mental Health Therapy Aides and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
Support and maintain a structured therapeutic milieu within the unit.
Serve as Charge RN when assigned providing leadership and clinical oversight.
Qualifications
Active and unrestricted New York State RN license required.
Recent experience in psychiatric or behavioral health nursing required.
Strong assessment documentation and medication administration skills.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team-based environment.
