Role Summary:

The Perioperative Registered Nurse (Circulating Nurse) plays a critical role in managing patient care throughout the intraoperative experience. Working outside the sterile field the RN circulator ensures a safe efficient and supportive surgical environment while serving as the patients advocate and coordinating the efforts of the surgical team.

Hours:
Part-time MondayFriday 7:00 AM3:00 PM (hours may vary based on center needs).

What Youll do:

• Assess patient needs preoperatively and intraoperatively

• Develop and implement individualized care plans

• Coordinate and communicate with the surgical team to maintain a safe efficient OR environment

• Monitor patient positioning safety and equipment use

• Ensure accurate documentation and reporting

• Support quality improvement and compliance initiatives

• Uphold patient confidentiality and safety protocols

• Collaborate across departments to optimize outcomes

What Youll bring:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program

• Current RN license in Illinois

• Minimum 1 year OR experience within the past 35 years

• BLS certification required; ACLS within 6 months of hire

• Strong critical thinking communication and team skills

Compensation & Benefits:

• PTO and 1/2 holiday pay for Part-time employment status

• Our Hourly ranges are based on role level and location. Individual pay within the range is determined by work location and additional factors such as relevant skills experience and education or training.
