Position Overview:

We are looking for a talented and skilled UI artist to join our internship program. This is a unique opportunity to collaborate closely with experienced professionals who will mentor and guide you in crafting our minimalist and visually stunning puzzle game Two Dots!

As a UI artist intern youll will be involved in shaping the visual art supporting the overall game design and user experience of the project and especially youll be contributing in creating minimalist visuals according to the art direction consistent with the whole project fitting the game mechanics and features as required.

You will work closely with a talented team formed by designers developers and artists in order to learn about the production cadence of new puzzle mechanics and features at the project.

What Youll do:

• Design and create visually pleasing assets for the puzzles new mechanics and game features.
• Develop and support the UI following the desired art direction and game design intentions.
• Design and implement User Interface screens while learning about other aspects of production including animation and VFX.
• Maintain a consistent style with the project working closely with the Art Director.
• Ensuring all the UI assets created are following best practices and meet specific technical requirements as provided by the team.
• Collaborate with the Designers Developers and other team members in order to produce new game mechanics and new game features.
• Produce advertisement artwork featured on App Stores following product requirements.

What You Bring:

• Strong graphic design skills with a minimalist style approach.
• Strong visual design abilities and understanding of usability design principles
• Highly motivated and passionate about videogames
• In-depth knowledge of Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
• High level of English both written and spoken (English is our official language!)

Bonus

• Ability to mock-up UX wireframes and collaborate effectively with game design and art to visually represent game design intentions
• Experience working as a UI artist at the gaming industry (experience in puzzle games as a plus)
• Experience implementing assets in Unity.
