Position Title: Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist
Location: Hyannis MA 02601
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Day 58s
Travel Pay Range: $82$87/hour
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Travel Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Hyannis MA. The IR Tech will assist physicians with a variety of vascular and non-vascular procedures while ensuring patient safety proper equipment function and efficient workflow.
Responsibilities
Assist with invasive and interventional procedures including scrubbing circulating monitoring and documenting hemodynamic data.
Operate troubleshoot and maintain interventional imaging equipment.
Prepare position and support patients to ensure comfort safety and procedural accuracy.
Maintain sterile fields clean and disinfect equipment and ensure proper materials handling.
Administer contrast media under physician supervision.
Manage inventory perform safety checks and ensure equipment readiness.
Participate in on-call rotations for emergency and after-hours cases.
Uphold departmental workflow quality and safety standards.
Qualifications
Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program
ARRT registered; Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist license required
Current BLS and ACLS
Minimum 2 years of IR or Cath Lab experience
RCIS CI or VI certification preferred
Strong understanding of sterile technique radiation safety and interventional imaging protocols
Preferred Experience
Hands-on experience with endovascular and peripheral procedures
Skilled in equipment operation maintenance and accurate documentation
Ability to remain calm in high-pressure environments and support complex cases effectively
