The University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine Department of Anesthesiology is seeking a physician anesthesiologist as the Chief of our Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesia program. This is a full-time Open Rank non-tenure track academic faculty and clinician position. Individuals with fellowship training in Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesia are strongly encouraged to apply. Qualified generalists would be considered.
Duties include direct patient care as well as teaching and supervising nurse
anesthetists and residents. Opportunities for clinical and basic science research are
available and participation is encouraged.

professional societies and/or within the College of Medicine.
EDUCATION: M.D. or equivalent degree. Completion of an accredited residency required with sub-certifications/training highly preferred.
LICENSES: Must be Board certified or Board eligible by the ABA. Eligible for licensure in the State of Tennessee. Current unrestricted licensure as a physician in Tennessee. Current certification DEA number
