Job Summary
The University of Tennessee Health Science Center Department of Radiology is actively seeking applicants for a non-tenured Open Rank Professor in Adult Interventional Radiology.
Responsibilities
Perform a variety of interventional radiology procedures in critically ill trauma and non-trauma patients. Procedures include but are not limited to non-coronary (including cerebral) angiogram treatment of injured blood vessels by embolization and stent placements with minimal invasive percutaneous procedures percutaneous biopsies and drainages evaluating and reading x-rays CT scans MRIs and ultrasounds. Other duties will include teaching and supervising residents and fellows in Interventional Radiology. Must have CAQ or be CAQ eligible.
Qualifications
EDUCATION: Completion of an accredited residency program.
LICENSES: Board certification or board eligible. Current unrestricted licensure as a Physician in Tennessee current certification DEA number. Eligible for malpractice insurance. Relocation is not required; however the work is on-site.
