About the role

The Business Manager role is based at Calvary Hobart and encompasses the management of a busy Calvary Cardiac Centre

Key Responsibilities

  • Budget Management and Planning
  • Development recruitment and retention strategies which encompass the facility wide philosophy
  • Ensure specialists and patients are provided with the highest level medical consulting and diagnostic testing services
  • Develop and implement policies and objectives specific to the units which reflect the direction of the facility
  • Participate in the development of effective marketing strategies for the units consistent with the facility wide philosophy

What you bring

  • 3 years relevant experience working in a medical practice
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a multidisciplinary team
  • Previous medical management experience (desirable)
  • Ability to manage people and financial resources to ensure smooth business operations
  • Strong communication - interpersonal written and verbal and organisations skills
  • Relevant industry knowledge
  • Experience in the use of medical practice software systems
