Job Summary
Cedar Park Group is hiring experienced Commercial HVAC Journeyman Technicians. The ideal candidate will perform routine maintenance troubleshooting and repair of mechanical systems to ensure safe and efficient facility operation.

Schedule Options:
- Tuesday Saturday 3:00 PM 11:30 PM (Pass Days: Sunday/Monday)
- Tuesday Saturday 11:00 PM 7:30 AM (Pass Days: Sunday/Monday)
- Sunday Thursday 3:00 PM 11:30 PM (Pass Days: Friday/Saturday)
- Sunday Thursday 11:00 PM 7:30 AM (Pass Days: Friday/Saturday)
Mandatory Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of HVAC experience and/or Union Journeyman required
- Must be available to work on-site during assigned shift
- Willing to commit to at least the first two contract periods
- Estimated 10% overtime (200 hours annually)
- Must provide own hand tools (specialty tools provided)
- Ability to perform preventive maintenance inspect and repair:
- Steam and hot water systems
- Refrigeration and air conditioning units
- Pumps compressors and control systems
- Emergency generators Dampers Low Voltage
- Must be mechanically inclined to work in a large facility
Must be able to:
- Read blueprints meters and gauges
- Interpret technical manuals and specifications
- Lift climb bend and perform physically demanding work
- Work independently and communicate effectively with on-site staff
- Learn and operate the Building Management System (BMS)
- Handle basic maintenance calls (e.g. lighting plumbing etc.)
- Follow Duty Engineer procedures and departmental policies
Preferred Qualifications
- Universal Refrigeration Certification
- NYS 7G License (or ability to obtain within 3 months)
- 2 years of supervisory experience
- 2 years of steam refrigeration and service call experience
