Job Summary
Overview
Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani a national law firm with offices in all 50 States has an immediate opening for an experienced Litigation Paralegal in its Irvine office. The ideal candidate must have 3 or more years of experience working as a litigation-focused paralegal preferably in a large law firm setting.
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree and/or an ABA-approved paralegal certificate required.
- Experience in litigation support and case management.
- Ability to adapt to changes in work environment and manage multiple cases remaining flexible proactive resourceful and efficient with a high level of professionalism.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Experience drafting and organizing discovery both written discovery and document production.
- Experience preparing for and assisting at trial.
- Familiarity with California State and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure.
- Experience with Summation Pro Relativity or comparable litigation support software.
- Excellent analytical and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail organizational and technical skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint).
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate professionally productively and efficiently with clients contacts attorneys other paralegals and all other professional staff.
- Assist attorneys in drafting pleadings performing factual and legal research reviewing and analyzing documents and supporting preparations for hearings depositions and mediations.
- Review gather and organize client documents from production to discovery.
- Research organize and summarize records as needed to assist in data gathering including organizing of information and documents in databases.
- Assist with preparing discovery requests and responses.
- Assist in trial preparation including drafting pre-trial pleadings preparing exhibits coordinating witnesses and requests with outside vendors and live trial support.
- Other duties as assigned.

The yearly salary range is between $45000-$90000. This position is open to all experience levels. The actual salary offered may be above or below the identified range and will be based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills training experience including the location where the position is filled.
