We are a personal injury law firm with an active litigation docket seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to support our Litigation Dept. on a part-time basis (2025 hours per week).
This role is designed for a paralegal who already understands the rhythm demands and precision of personal injury litigation and is looking for a clearly scoped high-responsibility role without the expectations of a full-time position. You will work directly with our Litigation Attorney on Georgia-based PI matters providing litigation support from discovery through trial preparation.
This position may be remote or hybrid in accordance with firm guidelines and operational needs.
The Litigation Paralegal will be responsible for hands-on litigation support including but not limited to:
- Managing litigation files for personal injury matters (auto trucking premises liability daycare)
- Drafting and organizing pleadings discovery requests discovery responses and subpoenas
- Reviewing summarizing and organizing medical records bills and case-related documents
- Assisting with depositions mediations hearings and trial preparation
- Monitoring and maintaining litigation deadlines and calendars
- Coordinating with clients opposing counsel experts and vendors as needed
- Ensuring files are complete accurate and litigation-ready at all times
- Minimum 35 years of litigation paralegal experience in personal injury
- Direct experience supporting active litigation matters (pre-suit through trial)
- Strong working knowledge of Georgia civil litigation procedures and deadlines
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently manage priorities and meet deadlines with minimal oversight
- Professional communication skills and sound judgment in a client-facing environment
- Comfortable working in a remote or hybrid structure and using case management systems
