Were seeking an experienced Cable Jointer to join our Energy & Utilities team based in Wiri Auckland. In this permanent full-time role youll deliver high-quality LV and HV jointing services across electricity distribution networks supporting critical infrastructure that keeps Auckland powered.
Youll be trusted to carry out complex jointing installation and repair work to a high standard working within established safety systems and alongside skilled crews who know the job and do it right.
This is a stable well-supported role offering consistent work proper systems and the backing of a Tier 1 contractor.
Mōu Koe About you
Youre a qualified Cable Jointer who takes pride in your workmanship and works safely efficiently and independently.
Youll bring:
EWRB Cable Jointer registration with a current practising licence
NZQF Level 4 National Certificate in Electricity Supply (Cable Jointer HV) or equivalent
Solid experience jointing LV and HV cables on distribution networks
Strong knowledge of SMEI safe work practices and permit systems
Confidence planning and delivering work to a high standard without rework
Good communication skills and a professional approach on site
A Class 1 manual drivers licence (Class 2 an advantage)
Eligibility to complete pre-employment medical and MOJ checks
