Senior Manager SHEQ

Internal Fleet Europe

THE ROLE

The Safety Health Environmental and Quality Manager is overall responsible for the titled activities in Internal Fleet Europe. Establish and maintain SHEQ framework and tools to support a safe and efficient truck operation. Overall responsibility for the Internal Fleets governing documents and procedures. Ensure that legal requirements related to SHEQ is known and understood across the Circle K Transport organization. This role may include personnel management in the future. The person will report to Director IHF Europe and be a member of the European IHF leadership team. The SHEQ manager will initiate and lead investigations. Extensive travel across our European markets must be expected.

Monthly KPIs

Driver compliance reports including OTC usage service level contaminations
Operational metrics including Service level splits idle time fuel consumption unit costs load and drop sizes and productivity.
Observation reports
HSSE KPI follow up.

WHAT YOULL DO

Coordinate authority reporting by country.
Coordinate and perform internal and external audits and inspections
Provide leadership and support to managers ensuring alignment with company goals and standards.
Perform investigations and spread learnings.
Maintain a safe positive energetic and healthy work environment for the drivers in strict compliance with the company code of conduct business ethics and compliance with legal regulations. Target for an overall high employee survey (MyVoice or equivalent) result from the drivers.
Member of the European leadership team contributing to strategic planning and decision-making.
Promote sufficient risk awareness in the European internal fleet
Coordinate the Internal Fleet Europes Emergency Response Team (ERT)
Implement and monitor operational procedures to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies.

WHAT YOULL NEED

Higher relevant education (Industrial Engineering Crisis Management Police etc). Other relevant work experience or higher education degree will also be considered.
In-depth knowledge of relevant industry laws connected to labor law and regulations for ADR transport.
A proven track record for excellent HSSE results.
Demonstrated experience from first line response and/or safety advisory is preferred but not mandatory.
Curious and with a drive to proactively develop insight to support the company in developing the business.
Fluent in English with excellent communication skills. Able to communicate and collaborate well with all layers in the organization.

Ability to connect and build strong relationships with others demonstrating strong emotional intelligence and an ability to communicate clearly and persuasively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills interpersonal and collaborative skills.
