Job Summary
As a Senior UX Engineer (18156) you will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and efficient software applications. Your role will involve leading technical projects mentoring junior engineers and continuously improving software development practices to ensure the delivery of robust and reliable software systems.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Responsible for front-end development of the e-commerce site including building and maintaining the component library in Storybook implementing UX design solutions and improving website performance and customer experience.
- Collaborate closely with UX designers developers product managers and other stakeholders to ensure pixel-perfect design implementation maintain code efficiency uphold accessibility standards and support A/B testing and user research initiatives.
- Provide documentation guidance and mentorship on front-end development best practices design system updates web accessibility compliance and UX implementation strategies serving as a technical resource across teams.
Qualifications and Skills
- Professional/ Advanced English skills.
- 3 years of professional experience in front-end development including HTML CSS and JavaScript
- 2 years of experience collaborating with UX/UI or web design teams focusing on user experience site architecture and emerging web technologies
- 2 years of experience with Figma or similar design and prototyping software
- 2 years of experience with Storybook or comparable component-driven UI development and documentation tools
- Proficient in Agile development methodologies and contributing effectively within Agile teams
- Experience with A/B testing tools such as Adobe Target and familiarity with web analytics tools like Adobe Analytics
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles accessibility standards and front-end performance optimization
- Ability to work independently under general guidance and manage multiple tasks under pressure
- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with designers developers product managers and business stakeholders
- Familiarity with Salesforce Commerce Cloud Adobe Photoshop Illustrator and branding principles as they relate to UX is preferred
