Job Profile: Maintenance Tech Level 1-4

Position Summary:

Perform maintenance tasks on plant facilities and on production equipment. Assist with general electrical wiring basic equipment troubleshooting and repair basic carpentry plumbing and masonry as directed.

Essential Functions:

• Safely handle hazardous waste in accordance with the Material Data Sheet (MSD) and company policy
• Troubleshooting of electrical/mechanical/hydraulic problems in a timely manner to minimize downtime of equipment
• Repair service and maintain equipment as needed at outside vendors suppliers customers and other PCC locations
• Assist in other plant maintenance work as required by supervisor facilities Manager and/or Maintenance Engineers
• Perform work in various areas such as electrical plumbing pneumatics hydraulics pipe fitting welding and soldering
• Responsible for the daily maintenance repairs and PMs of production process equipment plant-wide
• Proficient in robot operation as well as perform regularly scheduled preventative maintenance
• Operate equipment pertaining to maintenance including fork trucks scissor lifts and aerial lifts
• Perform preventative maintenance to all process equipment throughout facility
• Troubleshoot and provide cost effective resolutions to production problems
• Maintain thorough knowledge of all production processes and materials
• PLC troubleshooting and light programming
• Other duties as assigned
• Must follow and adhere to all safety procedures
• Maintain department standards for housekeeping/6S
• Other duties as assigned by supervision

Required Skills:

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situations and priorities
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere with a customer focus approach to support Operations and Safety

• Must be able to lift 35lbs on a regular basis

Experience & Education

• Thorough knowledge of mechanical electrical pneumatic and hydraulic manufacturing systems
• Previous experience as a maintenance technician or skilled craft is desired
