DescriptionAs a Machinist Level 1 here at Honeywell you will operate various machines and tools to produce precision parts and components. You will be responsible for following specifications and blueprints to ensure high-quality production while adhering to safety standards.
You will report directly to our Production Supervisor and youll work out of our Danville KY location on a 2nd shift work schedule.
In this role you will impact the efficiency and quality of our manufacturing processes contributing to the overall success of our operations and ensuring customer satisfaction through the delivery of high-quality products.
ResponsibilitiesKEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate and maintain various machining equipment including lathes mills and grinders.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate production.
- Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
QualificationsYOU MUST HAVE
- Experience in operating machining equipment and tools.
- Strong knowledge of machining processes and techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Familiarity with quality control standards and practices.
- Basic understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
