Salary: OMR 1800 per month
Job Overview:
The Sr. Electrician will be responsible for performing advanced electrical installation maintenance and repair tasks across industrial and facility systems. The role involves troubleshooting. Complex electrical issues supervising junior electricians ensuring compliance with electrical standards and maintaining operational efficiency of all electrical systems and equipment.
Job Role & Responsibilities:
Install maintain and repair electrical systems wiring control panels and equipment.
Inspect electrical components and systems to identify hazards defects or the need for adjustments or repairs.
Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and ensure timely corrective action.
Read and interpret blueprints electrical drawings and technical schematics.
Ensure compliance with electrical codes safety standards and company policies.
Assist in planning and executing electrical installations for new projects.
Maintain records of maintenance repairs and testing.
Coordinate with other technical departments to resolve electrical issues.
Supervise and guide junior electricians and technicians in daily activities.
Participate in preventive maintenance programs and safety inspections.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
Education: Diploma or Technical Certificate in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Experience: Minimum 57 years of experience in industrial construction or maintenance electrical work.
Hands-on experience with control systems switch gear motors and electrical distribution panels.
Knowledge of electrical troubleshooting load calculation and preventive maintenance.
Experience in shipyard oil & gas or heavy industrial environments preferred.
Required Skills:
Strong technical and problem-solving skills in electrical systems.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.
Good knowledge of safety regulations and lockout/tag out procedures.
Excellent communication and team coordination skills.
Attention to detail and ability to work under minimal supervision.
