Sr. Operations Specialist

Essential Job Functions

• Manage and oversee time-critical shipments including air ground and expedited freight.
• Provide real-time tracking and proactive updates to customers and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with airlines trucking companies and logistics partners to ensure on-time delivery.
• Ensure shipments go straight from pickup to delivery without transfers minimizing handling and transit time.
• Develop contingency plans for delays and resolve transport-related issues quickly.
• Work closely with sales operations and customer service teams to meet client demands.
• Negotiate pricing and service levels with carriers and vendors.
• Ensure compliance with international and domestic shipping regulations.
• Analyze performance data and implement process improvements for efficiency.
• Provide 24/7 support for urgent shipments when required.
• Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with NFO (Next Flight Out) OBC (On-Board Courier) and AOG (Aircraft on Ground) shipments.
• Familiarity with hazmat or temperature-controlled logistics.
• Multilingual abilities (a plus for international shipments).

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in logistics software and tracking tools.
• Knowledge of customs regulations and airline routing.

Education and Experience

• Bachelors degree in supply chain management Logistics or a related field (preferred)
• Minimum 3 years related experience.
• Minimum 3 years industry experience preferred.
