Field Service Technician - Air Compressors

Are you a skilled and hands-on individual with experience in the maintenance and repair of industrial equipment Are you looking for a challenging yet rewarding role in a dynamic and growing company Our client is seeking a Technician to join their team in South Florida.

Field Service Technician Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform service on industrial compressed air systems utilizing safe work practices
Perform Preventative Maintenance on compressed air systems
Emergency Repairs including after-hours and weekends as needed
Troubleshoot all components of an industrial compressed air systems
Air Compressors
Dryers (refrigerated and desiccant)
Master Controllers
Work independently
Complete all required paperwork accurately and neatly
Be proactive in helping the company grow by seeking to acquire new service business maintenance contracts and parts/accessory sales
Be responsible for the tools vehicles and equipment furnished by the company
Good communication skills to find solutions for repair installation or service issues

Field Service Technician Qualifications:

Two (2) Years of experience with industrial air compressor repair
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
PLC and electrical controls troubleshooting and programming
Experience with industrial electricity
Must be comfortable working with and around 3-phase power
Excellent troubleshooting ability
Need to be resourceful and demonstrate the ability to get the job done with minimal supervision or direction
Refrigeration certification is a plus
Strong organizational skills
PC literate with general Microsoft products
Clean driving record and background
