Job Summary

POSITION:TUTORS (Up to 8) FOR EL STUDENTS-GRADE K-12QUALIFICATIONS:Appropriate certification with the MA Department of Elementary & Secondary Education RequiredJOB REPONSIBILITIES: Certified Teachers sought to provide 1:1 instruction to support language acquisition and academic engagement. Tutors are expected to address speaking listening reading and writing based on students current knowledge. Tutors will also mentor and advise EL students and families to support successful academic TO:Director of Curriculum TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:Immediately-assignment runs for 8 weeks-excluding holidays and vacationsTutors will work 24 hours with an average of 3 hours per week over 8 weeks. Reassessment of continuation at the end of each cycle may warrant additional rounds. Tutors will finalize an exact schedule with the Principal based on tutor and students availability and tutors may be hired for work before during or after school.
