Role Overview We are seeking a short-term accounting/finance professional to support the completion of our Mexico entitys transition from a local ERP to SAP. This role will focus on reconciling financial data between systems aligning local statutory accounting with corporate (US GAAP) reporting and establishing a consistent monthly close process for the Mexico team. The position will collaborate closely with both the Mexico accounting staff and the US finance team to ensure accuracy transparency and sustainable processes going forward.
This role reports directly to the Controller and is a full-time Temporary position. This position is non-benefits eligible. Key Responsibilities The ideal candidate brings strong accounting fundamentals proven SAP ERP experience and the ability to bridge local and corporate reporting requirements across two accounting frameworks. - Reconcile trial balances between international subsidiaries and the U.S. group to ensure accuracy and compliance with US GAAP.
- Review and align financial data from external accounting sources to SAP identifying and resolving discrepancies across systems.
- Collaborate with international accounting teams and U.S. finance staff to ensure proper account mapping and consistent reporting structures.
- Add AP vendorsto support accurate postings and payment processing.
- Assist in developing a standardized and efficient monthly close process for international entities.
- Translate and interpret financial information between Spanish and English to facilitate clear accurate communication across teams.
- Support the Controller with data validation reconciliations and process documentation related to ERP integration activities.
- Other duties as needed.
