As a Advanced Project Engineer here at Honeywell you will coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams fostering collaboration and ensuring effective project coordination. Your monitoring of project progress and adherence to timelines budgets and quality standards will help maintain project efficiency and deliver high-quality results.

You will report directly to one of our Senior Engineering Manager and youll work out of our Brno CZ location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role you will have an impact on the companys success by ensuring the successful execution and delivery of complex engineering projects driving operational excellence and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

At Honeywell our Project Engineers play a critical role in developing and supporting our products and ensuring they meet customer requirements.

This is a hybrid role 3 days in office 2 from home.

Since the invention of autopilot in 1914 weve been a leader in innovation for the Air Travel industry. Today thousands of Honeywell products are used in aircraft and airports around the world. Everyday 140000 Honeywell air turbine starters bring to life commercial and military aircraft industrial and marine equipment.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage complex engineering projects from initiation to completion
  • Develop and implement project plans including timelines budgets and resources
  • Execute projects ensuring adherence to timelines budgets and quality standards. Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders
  • Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success. Provide technical guidance and support to project team members
  • Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery

Qualifications

Key requirements

  • . or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering Mechatronics Electronics Control or Aerospace Engineering
  • 5 years of experience in project engineering (or similar role) for programs/projects involving mechanical engineering products in the areas of electromechanical actuation electronic products optics RF and/or robotics. A technical engineering background in the aerospace space or defense industry is highly valued
  • Strong leadership and project management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in risk management and problem-solving. Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies
  • Fluent command of English language
