Mechanical Design Engineer II for Transnorm Systems Richardson TX
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for technical documentation part definition and support drawing component and system analysis;engineering assistance; writing specifications cost estimation and 3D modeling.
- Generate new CADs and drawings for customer inquiries and new parts.
- Design and develop new ideas of value engineering and component engineering for the purpose of saving costs.
- Technical support for customers.
- Responsible for design and implementation of mechanical parts subassemblies and product improvements.
Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE:
- Qualified applicants must have a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering Aerospace Engineering or a related field and 2 years of manufacturing design experience.
- Full term of experience must include: CAD modelling; Machining Manufacturing; Lean principle project implementation; design experience; Microsoft Office; technical writing; measurement; testing; scientific principles of problem solving; fundamental physics; and governing principles background.
- Must have 1 year of experience in sheet metal and textile Manufacturing.
- Telecommuting permitted up to three (3) times per week.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- Location: Richardson TX
- 40 hours/week
