Responsibilities
As a Senior Risk Business Intelligence Engineer you will:
- Data Modeling: Design and implement advanced data models to enhance analytics and reporting capabilities focusing on unit economics customer credit quality fraud patterns and overdue debt recovery processes.
- ETL Pipeline Development: Build and maintain efficient ETL pipelines to process and store data for business intelligence and machine learning applications.
- Enable Smarter Analytics: Collaborate with the risk team to develop and maintain key reports and dashboards using tools like Looker enabling data exploration and insights.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists engineers and product managers to align data initiatives with business objectives and integrate new data assets seamlessly.
Qualifications
We are looking for a professional with:
- Experience: 5 years in business intelligence with a proven track record of delivering tangible business value.
- Collaboration Skills: A passion for working with stakeholders and data scientists to create innovative solutions.
- Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in translating industry-specific metrics into well-documented efficient code.
- Experience with Spark Scala PySpark acceptable with willingness to learn Scala) for batch ETL pipelines and processing large-scale data.
- Familiarity with job orchestration tools like Airflow or Prefect.
- Expertise in creating data marts and sources for data scientists analysts and business users.
- Proficiency in business intelligence tools such as Looker Tableau or PowerBI.
Nice to Have
- Experience in financial services payment services or fraud prevention.
- A strong interest in fintech and risk management.
Day-to-Day
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and business objectives.
- Design and implement robust data models and ETL pipelines.
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to provide actionable insights.
- Work with cutting-edge technologies such as AWS Glue SageMaker Apache Spark and more.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of risk assessment models and policies.
