Room Leader

Salary: 30500

40 hours per week

What Were Looking For

Level 3 Early Years qualification (required).
Previous experience as a Room Leader or Senior Practitioner.
Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and safeguarding requirements.
Confident leadership skills with the ability to support and develop others.
Excellent communication skills and a warm positive approach to early years.
Passion for creating engaging developmentally appropriate spaces for children.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the day-to-day practice within your designated room ensuring high-quality care and learning.
Create stimulating child-led activities that support development across the EYFS.
Mentor guide and inspire practitioners to deliver consistent outstanding practice.
Build trusting relationships with families sharing progress and supporting individual needs.
Maintain safe organised environments both indoors and outdoors.
Contribute to planning observations assessments and key person responsibilities.
Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure smooth effective nursery operations.
