This limited-term grant-fundedappointment is part of a multi-year NSF-funded project at UW Oshkosh that aims to address a key sustainability issue affecting water quality human health and well-being in our region: blue-green algae blooms. Thisposition will be responsible for assisting with ethnographic data collection analysis and organization for this project.
Reviews and assists in organizing data to summarize results for presentations or reporting in the Ethnographic Lab at UW Oshkosh.
Inspects and maintains equipment supplies inventory and facility spaces.
Collects data and monitors test results according to established research requirements and specifications.
May assist with literature reviews and/or report writing.
Performs lab and/or field test materials and samples according to established research requirements and specifications. Performs lab or field tests.
Sustainability Institute for Regional Transformations (SIRT)
Starting at $15.00/hour commensurate with experience.
Bachelors Degree in Anthropology or related field.
Some experience with ethnographic data collection and analysis.
At least three (3) months experience collecting ethnographic data.
