The Human Resources Assistant is an integral part of our team serving as the frontline of communication for our this role you will be responsible for answering questions providing support and gathering information to appropriately escalate problems as necessary. Your work is vital to ensuring our administrative processes run smoothly and our employees receive the best possible customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls and route them as needed.
- Answer employee questions and provide support in a timely and professional manner.
- Enthusiastically assist new employees regarding company functions culture benefits hours of work pay day procedures and policies.
- Assist in completing onboarding in company systems: payroll time and attendance employee database as needed.
- Assist with New Hire processes and onboarding.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure confidentiality.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Support HR team with various administrative tasks.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Familiarity with HR policies and procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other HR software.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

High school diploma required; some college preferred
Intermediate computer skills in MS Office: Word Outlook (Create and send email and meeting invitations) Excel (enter sort filter create basic formulas save files) PowerPoint (can present onboarding materials and edit when needed)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills comfortable presenting to groups
