Responsibilities and Impact:

  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including daily standups sprint planning retrospectives and sprint reviews to ensure team productivity and continuous improvement
  • Coach development teams on Agile principles and Scrum practices while removing impediments that block team progress
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to maintain and prioritize product backlogs ensuring clear requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Present sprint progress metrics and team performance to stakeholders and senior leadership
  • Drive process improvements and innovation in Agile practices to enhance team efficiency and delivery quality
  • Foster a culture of transparency collaboration and continuous learning within cross-functional teams

Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)

S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $105000 to $135000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individuals geographic location as well as experience level skill set training licenses and certifications.

This role is eligible for an annual incentive plan in addition to base compensation. However it is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan.

What Were Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience with 5 years in Agile project management or Scrum Master roles
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification such as PMI-ACP or SAFe Scrum Master
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills with the ability to engage effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders
  • Experience with Agile project management tools such as Jira Azure DevOps or Rally
  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills with proven ability to coach and mentor team members
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle and experience working with development teams

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in financial services or financial markets technology environments
  • Advanced Agile certifications such as Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) or SAFe Program Consultant (SPC)
  • Experience with scaled Agile frameworks such as SAFe LeSS or Nexus
  • Background in software development or technical project management with an understanding of DevOps practices

Location: NYC - Hybrid (2-3 days onsite)
