Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant-Data Base ETL and Power BI Tester
We are seeking a skilled Data Base ETL and Power BI Tester with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our data systems from extraction and transformation to reporting and visualization. You will play a key role in validating data testing complex queries and performing security assessments to safeguard our data assets.
Responsibilities
Design develop and execute test plans test cases and test scripts for database ETL and Power BI projects.
Perform comprehensive data validation and integrity checks to ensure data accuracy throughout the ETL process.
Conduct end-to-end testing of data pipelines from source systems to the data warehouse and final reports.
Write and execute complex SQL queries to validate data identify discrepancies and test stored procedures triggers and views.
Validate Power BI dashboards and reports against source data to ensure accuracy functionality and performance.
Collaborate with developers and data analysts to troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues.
Perform security testing on databases and data platforms to identify vulnerabilities and ensure data protection.
Participate in agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups sprint planning and retrospectives.

Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in technology
Minimum valid years of hands-on experience in ETL testing Snowflake DB and Power BI
Proven experience in database testing ETL testing and Power BI testing.
Thorough knowledge of writing complex SQL queries for data validation joins and aggregations.
Hands-on experience with Snowflake DB is a nice to have.
Practical experience in security testing with a focus on databases and data warehouses.
Familiarity with ETL tools such as Informatica Talend or similar.
Experience with Power BI for creating and testing visualizations and reports.
Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Programming Proficient in writing code using SQL language
Analytical skills analytically examine bug reports prioritize vital tests and streamline application functions through automated testing processes
Problem-solving skills problem-solving skills to find bugs and build fixes for them
Attention to detail and Interpersonal skills
